Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and motivation to improving South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) companies all through an engagement with all the agency's senior managers in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled from the 2024 matric final exams.
On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% of the registered pupils inside the education and learning sector.
These learners obtained a commendable pass rate of 86%.
